Based Pontefract – Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a telephone receptionist to work at our office in Pontefract. You will work on a busy switchboard undertaking a range of receptionist duties including:

  • greeting clients
  • diary management
  • taking monies, payments and issuing receipts
  • general administration

You will have a minimum of two years experience working on reception.


Hartley and Worstenholme is a well established family firm based in Castleford and Pontefract covering a range of legal services delivered both locally and nationally. We recently received the LFS award for Small Conveyaing Firm of the Year (North) for our commitment to quality and customer care.

The role of Receptionist is full-time and core reception hours are 8.45am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

You will be a confident receptionist with an ability to juggle different priorities. You will have a professional telephone manner and be able to deal with a range of clients and their queries.

You will have GCSE maths and english at equivalent grade C or above

Familiarity with Windows 10 would be an advantage.
