Meg qualified last century in Leeds, specialising in probate, tax and trusts from the start. She joined Hartley & Worstenholme in 1985 and is now head of our private client department. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, past trustee of our local hospice and ex-chair of governors at NEW College Pontefract. She represented Yorkshire on the Law Society Council for 8 years, chairing the Wills and Equity Committee for three years and serving on the Mental Health and Disability Committee.
A former motorcyclist and member of SPICE, Meg has attempted a full range of activities from abseiling to zorbing, including fire eating en route, with varying degrees of success!

Sarah Markham

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and joined Hartley & Worstenholme in 2008. She specialises in private client work and deals with preparation of wills, probate and the administration of estates, inheritance tax planning, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection work.
Sarah has a particular interest in classical music - listening and playing. She also enjoys wine tasting and watching foreign films.
