We will:

Sale

  • Give information to your buyers
  • Agree the terms of the contract for your sale
  • When everyone is ready and a moving date has been agreed, exchange contracts (this is when you will be committed to the sale)
  • Make the pre-completion legal arrangements and checks
  • Receive the purchase money from your sale
  • Pay off your mortgage
  • Account to you for the balance due to you

Purchase

  • Check the Home Information Pack
  • Obtain information from your seller’s Solicitor
  • Make appropriate searches
  • Check the sellers have good title
  • Agree the terms of the contract for your purchase
  • When everyone is ready and a moving date has been agreed, exchange contracts (this is when you will be committed to the purchase)
  • Make the pre-completion legal arrangements and checks
  • Get the mortgage money from your new lender
  • Request any balance we need from you
  • On completion day, send the purchase money to the seller’s solicitor
  • Register your ownership and mortgage at HM Land Registry
  • Send payment to HM Revenue and Customs for any Stamp Duty
  • Act for your lender to make sure their interest is properly protected
